By downloading, installing, or using ClearNest: Storage Cleaner ("ClearNest", "the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.
1. What ClearNest does
ClearNest scans your device's storage (with the permissions you grant it — see the Privacy Policy) to help you find and remove junk files, duplicate photos, large files, and app-specific caches, and to check your network speed. All destructive actions (deleting files) only happen after you explicitly select items and confirm.
2. Your responsibility
File deletion performed through the App is permanent and cannot be undone by us. You're responsible for reviewing what's selected before confirming a cleanup. We recommend keeping backups of anything irreplaceable (e.g., via cloud photo backup) independent of this App.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for its intended purpose. You may not reverse engineer, resell, sublicense, or use the App to build a competing product, except where applicable law gives you the right to do so despite this restriction.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to violate any law, to interfere with its normal operation, or to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of its infrastructure.
5. No warranty
The App is provided "as is." We do not guarantee it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that it will detect or reclaim any particular amount of storage. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost data — arising from your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
7. Third-party services
The Network Speed Test feature contacts a third-party endpoint to measure throughput (see the Privacy Policy for details). We are not responsible for the availability of third-party services the App may connect to.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App changes (for example, when advertising functionality is added). We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App at our discretion.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the place where the developer is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where the mandatory laws of your country of residence provide otherwise.
